We're hiring for a Project Manager - Commercial Construction role in the Alpharetta, GA market. This opportunity is ideal for a project leader who can manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client communication, and overall project execution from preconstruction handoff through closeout.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout.
- Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
- Experience leading project teams and coordinating closely with field leadership.
- Strong communication skills with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, superintendents, and internal leadership.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining organization, urgency, and attention to detail.
- Experience with commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, education, office, industrial, or similar project types is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and owner communication.
- Coordinate closely with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal leadership.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify project risks early and support proactive solutions to protect schedule, budget, and quality.
- Lead project meetings, track progress, and ensure accountability across the project team.
- Support project closeout, punch list completion, final documentation, and client handoff.
