Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Atlanta, GA Full-Time On-site

$120,000 - $160,000 per year

Altar Search Partners is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Atlanta, GA. This role is designed for an experienced commercial construction leader who can oversee complex projects, guide project teams, manage client relationships, and drive successful delivery from preconstruction handoff through closeout.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating closely with field leadership.
  • Strong communication skills with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, superintendents, and internal leadership.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining organization, urgency, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, education, office, industrial, or similar project types is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and owner communication.
  • Coordinate closely with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal leadership.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks early and support proactive solutions to protect schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Lead project meetings, track progress, and ensure accountability across the project team.
  • Support project closeout, punch list completion, final documentation, and client handoff.
